Chuck's Artwork to be Raffled at moe.down
Hi, Y'all....
In lieu of having another of the incredibly successful and fun "Tune Hunt" - type contests this year at moe.down ( and the usual sale or bidding on that artwork ), we will only be offering one original piece ( drawn by yours truly ) in a drawing ( that's right, pun intended ). Basically, the framed, autographed original "Dragon" used for the cover of "Warts & All, Vol. 4" will be raffled off at $10 per ticket purchased. Buy as many as you want ( really, please do! ) as all proceeds will go to Artworks Cincinnati and you may go home with a li'l bit a moe.morabilia! To learn more about Artworks, please visit: http://www.artworkscincinnati.org/about/whatisartworks.shtml
With help from some helpful folks at last year's moe.down, sale of pieces in the Tune Hunt and other Artwork raised over $3,000.00 ! As long as there are interested people, we will try to do our best to help make the moe. community at large a more conducive environment for senseless acts of charity and wicked bigtime attention to social/political/environmental issues. Dig...........
These are a couple of "pre final" sketches used for the cover art. The sale piece is more detailed than the first and not at all red like the second. Eddie Derhak just thought it looked better that way. It was done in pencil, then pen and ink.
We may decide to raffle other separate objets d'chuckart, depending on availability and logistics. Visit the moe.merch booth at moe.down to buy your tickets and find out more.
Thanks for yer support at all the previous moe.downs!
chuck.
